it has a feeling of carpeting or heavy cloth, and the colours gently meld - whispers of green in a brownish field. Like the way the lighting accentuates the centre. There is a spiral lurking in there (joking), but kept under control. The corners all says something. That signature is too obtrusive (sorry).

That really looks like an old-fashioned rug of some sort, like maybe one you'd find in your grandmother's house. Very nicely done!
