Description

Although Enterprise actually received her new 5” guns and gun directors at the Bremerton yard, the “1010” dockyard area at Pear Harbor had a capability to handle big jobs. Enterprise is in drydock #2, a Sims class destroyer and CA28 USS Louisville are in drydock #1. A yard tug pushes USS Yorktown CV-10 as a PBY Catalina flies by on a sunny day in 1944. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. John 3:16-17 NKJV Credits: Based on Ford Island Diorama by Richard Smith at SteelNavy.com Special thanks to “Dr. Spacebones” incredible work on primitives. Amazing. Didn't know that's how they worked on them. I worked with a guy that was in the Navy and he told me a few times when the ships got hit, they were in the water repairing them with underewater torches... so this is quite interesting - never seen something like this. good job... I miss star trek - lol... been watching it again on the net - it's still cool!
