If you ever have been Manic or know someone who is or has been, this mental image of that state should ring your bell. It's to complicated to give a description here but a good way of putting it is "All hell breaks loose."

Yes, it does, and very quickly. Someone very dear and close to me has a form of manic depression, and this image fits the title very well. You hit the nail on the head with this one, matter of fact....this is one fractal image that makes perfect sense to me, Robert--well done, well expressed.
