Description

Thought today I would share some photos of my extended family with you....:) Here is one of my son's reptiles .... He is a Uromastyx and he named him "Mali" for short....They are better-known as Spiny-tailed lizards..... Uromastykes are primarily herbivorous, but occasionally eat insects, especially when young. They spend most of their waking hours basking in the sun, hiding in underground chambers at nighttime or when danger appears. He is such a sweet and docile little fella..... Previous Photo (BOSCO)

Tina They aren't to big at all- the camera is right in his cage here- looking down at him.....Their size ranges from 14 inches to 36 inches or more .....But they always reminded me of a turtles head when he goes into his little hut- he just looks like one...lol He is adorable!

Did you notice the grin on his face? You got a duck to pose in one pict but how in the world do you get lizzy to smile? You said, "who's your momma .. who's your momma" .. right? I've never seen a lizard like this. Very educational as I web dive for more information. Madison (daughter) will have a blast w/me as we cruise the net. Fantastic camera shot!!!!
