Description

Captured 2/25/08, around 7:30 AM, within walking distance of my domicile. This species of poppy comes in various seed strains and a myriad of colors: yellow, orange, salmon, rose, pink, cream and white as well as bi-colored varieties. And it does not like warm/hot weather, which will cause it to expire posthaste. Tons of thanks go to our dear friend, auntietk, who supplied the identification and information regarding this fragile flower. Thanks for the visit, and have a work week of epic proportions.
