Been an artist of various types pretty much all my life: pencils - paint - watercolors, mosaics of beach glass, writing 'stories', musician (first love), photography, software design. Started messing with Bryce & Photoshop a few of years ago and have gotten more involved with various 3D apps recently (Lightwave, Cinema 4d, Vue, etc). But my pictures, both rendered and captured, pretty much tell who I am. My bunny, Brenda aka JustAlice here, and I live in a little house out in the countryside of Indiana.

I will have to go and look at your others of this series. This is nice, not quite sure on this blue look though, never seen it quite this way before, maybe it was the time of year you visited. I have only been there in the summer time, I would have to say if I had to make a choice to revisit only one place I had been to once again this would be it. It is GRAND in every way.

Wow! That's great. So unusual to see the Grand Canyon this colour... it's usually seen in dusky browns. Fabulous. Well done!

your setting in camera may be off; but it could be the sun setting and the blue shadows is setting in. Super loooking

You have so many wonderful pictures of the canyon. But this is one of my favorites. Well done bunny.

Yes, and if I remember right, we were turning blue that day in the -12 temp and high winds. This is a good one showing most of the canyon.

I know that blue tone...it seems to come under certain low light conditions which you seem to have here with the haze on a winter day. I like the slight pink of the canyons in the distance... I like thinking about what made all this and how it must have been back then...how very long it must have taken to carve this so masterfully.

Eerie blue haze and not a gum tree in sight ! Freaky result and grand Grand Canyon capture ! ~Cheers~

Amazing how different the same place is in different lights.

How it was made is still a subject of debate, but most of my studies indicate that it took about five million years for the land to rise and the canyon to be cut; a rather short time, geologically speaking.

Wonderful place and fantastic photo.

Simply amazing grandeur! I've never seen images of the canyon with this much haze or looking this blue. Very cool.
