Description

I'm not very happy with the background, which I feel takes too much attention away from the elegant little spirals. Consider this a work in progress, but perhaps still worth a glance. UF

Toby, this is awesome! I love everything about it, not the least the colors. A less detailed background might work better, but as it is, it feels like the spirals are coming out of chaos, appearing gradually, gaining individuality. I think I like it as it is, more mysterious :)

I first got the impression it looked more like "deep sea" than deep space. A greenish colour in the background, like Eveline suggests, would increase that impression. In my opinion deep space is not as busy as your background. Just some thoughts... Nevertheless, I like the wavy spiral thingies ^_^

Gorgeous! I love the bright spirals. Maybe just bringing down the luminescence on the white peaks of the background gradient would do the trick, sort of flatten out the background shapes a little. Still gorgeous tho :)
