Description

The Tellier T-3 is not a real big flying boat. I think the observer has to kneel and sit on a bar to fit in his compartment. I found a drawing in color that I am sure he could not fit in at all. The deck is very low so no way he could just sit flat and scrunch up his knees. The nose is very short and only in the picture with a Davis 47mm recoiless rifle installed is the ring large enough he could move back toward the pilots. ( I did go to school with a Davis, Pat, he was voted class clown. So my gun network that began with George Lowe the minsters son can now add a heavy recoil mass to the gas operated mechanism and not be too far from a Stoner.) I depicted it with a Lewis and bombs as that was a typical load in the stories of submarine encounters out of Croisic.

I'll need to lose a couple of stone first - but it could be worth the effort [when someone finds a cure for acrophobia, that is]. Mike
