Description

Hello everyone, thanks for your comments and viewings on my last upload! :) This photo here shows the 'Rammelburg' which is situated in the nord-east of the little health resort "Wippra" in the south-west of Saxony-anhalt. It was built in 13th century (first mentioned in 1259). It made the headlines at the end of the 17th century when Gottfried Arnold authored a book against the church with the help of the local pastor. The original german title of this book is: "Unparteiische Kirchen- und Ketzerhistorie" ("Impartial church- and heretichistory"). His work was declared discgraceful at once by the curch. Till the 90s of the 20th century there has been rehab hospital in it. Today it is not used. The photo was made with Nikon D300 + 90mm Tamron and is a HDR made of 9 photos. There had really been no way to make a photo without branches in front of the lens... Please have a full size view! Hope you like it! Have a nice day!

What a grand old place I like the POV and the rough terrain in front adds to its isolation.. Good job on the HDR

The branches in front add to this, I feel. The clouds are interesting and lend good shadowing.
