Description

I took this image of a six month old male leopard cub in the Thorny Bush Game Reserve in South Africa. How the game ranger found him in the thick bush is still beyond me!! He was on his own and gave us a real "show" by stretching and rolling over! We must have watched him for almost an hour. I was literally about 3 meters away from the little (or not quite so little) guy. His mother is apparently reknowned to be short tempered and for attacking vehicles, but luckily she was nowhere to be seen! Leopards are by far my most favourite cat and I feel priviledged to have had the opportunity to be this close to one of them in their natural and wild habitat. Thank you for visiting my gallery. xx
