Description

It was raining and I got lot of photos of the rain. Not what I was hopeing but good ones anyway. That why is looks like this. plus I lose my 2x len extinor but I find it last night; I was very happy for it cost me about $175. lol thanks for looking and comments . Yes the pov here do leave out the sky so it looks a little surreal to me anyway.

Great capture. I love how the bird is so white against the rest of the marshland. Excellent work Jock. Aloha P.S. Glad you found your lens too.

oh I read you need to learn to shoot in all types of weather. He right who ever say that to me. I still do not like most my rainy shots but I like this one and a few others. I get it right one day. I like to stop the rain in the air one day. Came close to it one time I find it and post it soon

Great effect of the bright and elegant egret/heron contrasted against the dreary ambiance of Lake Martin in the rain, Jock.

Glad you found your lens! Visiting the place in the rain got you a very nice shot of the bird and the lake. A lot of great textures, too.

Wonderful shot of that crane! I didn't even notice the sky until you mentioned it - that's what it looks like here about 75% of the time!

A fine shot of this wet enviroment. The bird doesn't seem to mind the rainy weather.

Fantastic shot, and what a lucky timing with a bird in a middle of the swamp.

The sight of that hunkered down bird really reinforces the heavy weather mood. I like this composition and pov a lot.

An egret is better than a paintbrush when things get muddy.

Wow! Jocko, a high ISO and a pretty slow shutter speed, it must have been pretty dark over head. You still managed a great shot though, that beautiful white egret was a great plus to it. A great atmospheric shot. Bravo!!!!!

It does look a bit surreal and weird, but that just makes the shot even better...well done S ~ Hugs ~

This is very nice, Jock, rain or no. It shows off the egret in his natural environment perfectly. Well done. :)
