Hello !
My name is Helle. I live in Denmark on the Island, Zealand. I have a husband and two sons and three grandchildren, so I am a happy person.
I like many kinds of art and I try to limit myself, but I dont succeed very well. I love my PSP9 and I think I use it every day. I like to draw, paint and experiment on canvas or paper and I wish I had time do it every day. My biggest wish is, that there would be 48 hours instead of the poor 24 a day. I just dont think it will ever happen ;)
A fantastic new world opened for me, when I was Introduced to Renderosity for the first time. I am very grateful to be a part if this site.

It looks as a nice composition with a good peace wishing symbolic element.... but also other elements like sun and sky seems to be seen through a cage screen... and the two crossing lines suggest a sort of negative energy pushing you down...at least in my personal interpretation....Be Happy!!

You are on your way to fame and fortune now - any picture that makes one say "What is it?" has to be a masterpiece in modern art LWU (laughing with you)

Oh, don't throw this away! There's so much energy and symbolism in it! I can't tell you how many times I've started a painting, hated it and given up, only to re-visit the piece months later and finish it. (Do you remember the iris abstract I posted a couple months ago? I think I started that in August, and it was awful!) After some time has passed, take this out again and see what happens. If you don't like it as a straight painting, try throwing some filters at it in Photoshop! I love the composition and the colors, and the graphic look. It's very light and positive, except for those two bars across the top. I agree with efferre - they seem to be negative energy in an otherwise positive piece. (Which doesn't make them bad - they just say something different from the other elements!) There's so much about this that's wonderful - I hope you'll let it sit for a while and take it out again later. I bet you'll like it if you give it a little distance - it really is good!

Thank you Tara! But I cant remove them, they are a part of the painting. But I could make them a little lighter by giving them more of the background colors. HIHI ! If I even want to bother.

Hey! don't be so hasty! I have a suggestion for the red dot... make more. Doesn't even have to be confined to that patch... you could put them up randomly. There are a lot of patterns and textures here. Make them work for you, not the other way around.

I'm with meico on this! Festive and alive! Bravo Helle!

It's really good... It's REALLY good.... The fact that you're dissatisfied is a good sign. It means that you're striving to improve and learn and that's great. Art is self-discovery. When others appreciate what you do as well it feels great, but I think it's even more important to learn from past work and use the knowledge and make better stuff... I do love this... AND I see a personal style emerging too... I wouldn't give up on these....

This is a wonderful piece.

By defination I don't see the horror. More like an ocean of emotion. I think that may be the point. Interesting and original. ;-)

Those two angled bars are integral. Their angle is repeated in the array of blue splashes which continue below, and you have those counterpoised horizontals on the other side (plus the two horizontals at the top). Great! We can explore, commune, and find our own meanings. I'd say hubby is jealous. I like the textures.

I lke so much this work on textures and colors! This is such a BEAUTIFUL horror! 5+++!
