My family wasn't entirely sure why I was doing this one, but somehow it wanted to be created, so here it is!

The lighting and shadows captures the mood in this one! The pose and surroundings says it all...a desperate situation overcome by depression and a sense, that hope no longer exists! This is how I interpret this render! The cat offers the only glimer of hope for this troubled soul, as it may be the only thing left to bring them joy! ( Interesting how art can be so subjective...I guess that is the best thing about renders like yours... that upon viewing, they can mean so many different things to all viewers! Excellent and very well done! :) 5+
