Description

A first render ( with Vue6 Infinite ) of my last car. A very diificult modeling, with a lot of curves!!! Who knows the trade mark, the year and the name of the model? Hope you'll like the atmosphere. I tried to make a realistic render. Special dedication for my wife Danielle who let me work on my computer during a large part of the nights and for Dan Palatnik ( NURMer ) who is a great modeler and who likes classic cars, like me.

nice shade of blue. I had an opel. This car made me think of it... I have no idea what make, model or year this car is... You did a great job on it though. Nice to see a post, it's been a while.

Simca or rather judging by the absence of front grille, Renault. French by all means! Superbe, Alain. Modeling, texturing, composing all are great. Congrats and let me tell you, your wife deserves the five stars!

A Renault Floride, designed by Ghia and produced starting from the 1959 (after the 1963 was replaced by the Caravelle). The earlier Floride can be recognized from the air scoop behind the doors... I remember a photo of Btigit Bardot posing on this car! http://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Renault_Floride_1.JPG http://www.classicpassion.nl/img/his/large/renaultfloride.jpg http://www.renaultcaravelle.com/frenchflirt.html Great modeling, 5+++++!

It really is a hassle to get a windshield wiper to skim a transparent surface that is curved in two directions. Another windshift for collision detection. It's not an Amphicar.

The car & atmosphere are wonderfully integrated and it's a super rendering... The hue to saturation ratio is right on the money too... Delightful image...
