You said that you'd always be there for me
and that you'd always care.
Then how come when I call for you
you are never there?
I must have called for you a thousand times
waiting for you to arrive.
I miss being with you and talking to you
You made me feel alive.
You told me you would always be truthful
and never tell a lie.
Yet you left me standing
with this emptiness inside.
I thought that what we had was real,
something noone could take away.
Still I'm standing here,
alone,
On this cold and gloomy day.
