Superb shot! I love the details, the contrast and the details. Here, in Romania, the weather is very cold, and this flower is seemed to be the sun. Thank you my friend :)

Unusual pov Mick, I remember somebody else doing one like this last year but I can't think who. I think the reason the ceiling took on that colour is because you used the flash and it died out before reaching the ceiling, if you get what I mean. If it's your internal flash they do not have a very good reach on them, my hot shoe one has only about 10/12 ft at f8. Fantastic macro though, great detailing I think you have a bit of pollen on there from one of the other flowers. The furriness of the cup is a fantastic texture. I seldom use flash on any of my pics, I usually use the tripod and long shutter speeds. I will have to give this a try myself. Excellent work. Bravo!!!!! Alan's pc is still down.

What a fabulous shot! I can just see you on the floor, taking flash shots up through the flowers. The result is awesome. Before I read what you'd written, I thought, "now how did he get that great background with no postwork marks?" Sweet work! :)

Beautiful! Usually my camera does backgrounds in black if very far away. I love this blue contrasted against this sunny flower, too. You did extremely well here!! Excellent. ;o)

Simply stellar, Mick. The background turned out perfect and the flash worked for you. Normally it only makes a mess for me but you must know how to use it better than I. Great backside shot for all the fuzzy bottom. :-)
