Hi, I'm back from our trip to London and we had a great time! One of the things that we did was visit Kensington Palace, which amongst other things had an exhibition of Princess Diana's dresses.
There was one designed by Catherine Walker that I particularly liked, so I have tried to recreate it here. This was just done using Daz's MFD as the base with diffuse, trans and displacement maps together with a velvet shader in Poser. I think it turned out out nicely and quite similar to the original. There is no attempt to make the character look like Diana though!

I like the velvet shader. The render looks good too. I am not sure about the large lapels looking fashionable, but do I know, I like blue jeans.
