Description
This is the opening intro shot of the 'Treasure Seeker' ship as it 'flies' into the story.
Panel one [half sheet] of two frames of page one. Oil paint [b/w] on canvas; 15 3/3"w by 17"h. The ship is a b/w photo pasted on top the oil painted 'background'. The whole page was then sent to the printers [with the rest of the canvas pages] where they shot and the paper comic pages were printed and put together.
Think 'The Empire Strikes Back'... CG was not even in its infant stage for the film industry.
