My baby...luv my Jeep 4x4. Do I take it rock-crawling and off-roading? Hell no... No way, no how...... Â
I have been working with 3D digital programs for about 6 years time. My first experiences with the world of 3D digital art were Terragen and a terrain generator program called World Machine. After learning Terragen, I moved on to Bryce where my major interest in creating landscapes, SciFi and interior space renderings now lies.
Other programs which I experiment with and use are Vue7, Apophysis and Incendia. Postwork tools I usually use for enhancing the original renders are PSP Pro X, PhotoScape 3.3, Paint.Net, MGI PhotoSuite and FastStone Image Maker. Occassionally I also enjoy taking photos with my Nikon S52 Digital camera. Here at Renderosity you will find works of mine using all of these mediums.
As an artisan, I have always had a deep love and respect for architecture, especially modern and future design development. You will see that reflected in some of the 3D renderings here in my gallery.
Originally, I'm a Northeastern United States native (anthracite coal region)....half Welsh, half Bavarian in ancestry.... and live some 1,400 feet (about 475 metres) above sea level in the Appalachian mountain chain along with my Shih-Tzu, Max and my cat, London. However, I prefer the lure of the beach and ocean and especially love the Chesapeake Bay region of the East Coast. Â
Take a few minutes to look thru my gallery and leave a comment or two if you like. Everyone here at Renderosity is unique in their work and individual abilities.  Personally speaking, I have been blessed with the friends I have made from around the world and for being a part of this community for the past 5 years. Beautiful and yet sad image, that the earth should be scarred in this way for the sake of mankind!

Great terrainwork and light. I´m very poor at doing realistic landscapes in Bryce. I seldom use the prog to that so. I think you´re succesfull with using the prog to what it´s created for.

Excellent chiselled out terrain work Keith. Great low POV makes the quarry look huge and also the upfront foliage. Great work as ever. Tony :-)

It does have that sad, abandoned look, but nature is softening the effect~~beautiful image, Keith!!

The drill markings are a good touch, and I've seen quarries just like this with water in the bottom making a small lake Its well done, Keith!

Another great image, Keith! But the quarry seems better now after all that torment. It looks like it's just started to enjoy life to the full!
