Description

Made so many test renderings and couldn't get the shadows to look right that I ended up painting and postworking them in. Used Dreamlight's Mask Creator to make a copy of the plant and vase, then blurred and warped it to make a shadow. Combined renders using Light Dome Pro with and without shadows. V3 dress by Digital Meanderings

Very nicely done....it actually has an "old masters" feel to it and your shadow painting was handled very well.

So well done and echoing what vangogh said, it does have the look of a beautiful ole painting. Creative work on the shadows, they look perfect. Definitely a favorite.

Oh my gosh ... this looks like something Vermeer would do. Absolutely stunning! Excellent work. The lighting is spectacular!

I agree very much with vangogh above. It does have an old masters feel to it. Was very much worth all the work. Her expression and body language is just right and the color tones are muted just perfectly to fit the mood of the piece.

Getting light & shadow to look good takes time & effort, I really like the way yours turned out. You have created a natural feel, really good.

stunning per usual.. I would offer tha tthe lighting transition in the corner is a bit abrupt . a bit mor emabient occlusion to the corner and some bounced light on the left wall away from the corner would help sell that wall a bit. Also there is a tiny strip of wall below the table that is visible that should be either larger or gone.. at it's present size it looks like a flaw. But these are tiny nits in the face of what is an awesome piece.
