At the risk of showing too much purple in my gallery, I thought I'd post another view of my latest twi'lek character, with some more clothes this time. In fact, before I paired her up with a droid, I made this set to test out the character and texture.
It's a simple image but I think it came out ok. There's some excessive darkness in areas like the pits of the eyes that I believe comes from having AO nodes on the skin texture AND turning AO on one of the IBL lights. I've made a note to not make this same mistake in the future.
The top is a freebie by Aery Soul that I adjusted with the grouping tool to show off more cleavage. The back wall was pulled off of a vulcan ship model that's available at scifimeshes.com. The lekku here are by PhilC (still haven't fit Keith's new ones into a render yet). The hip cloth is from the "Destroyer" set over at Daz and the boots and leg coverings are by Yanelis3d.

As Vicky Vale said in the Burton version of Batman "I love purple!" Hehehe! Cool vulcan set- it looks kinda like a stage, perhaps she will be performing? I like what you have done to give her a different frame than the standard Daz characters- or at least the appearance of it, she seems to have a narrower upper torso- looks very cool! I think the AO looks great too- dont see any areas that look too dark to me.

I know you didn't like the way the eyes turned out, but keep those settings in mind for times when you want the eyes to look that way: it's very striking. I also like the shadow cast by the spotlight, but I'm puzzled by the lack of corresponding brightness on her face and head. Beautiful work. And as a dedicated Trek fan, I have to check out that Vulcan set! [grin]

The motion of the Destroyer seems to be having quite an effect on this purple little number ! Interesting result mixing AO & IBL, the darkness around her eye's makes her look like a Goth Twi'lek, which is kool ! Well done & ~Cheers~

LOL, I was going to comment on the new Goth look your Twi'lek has, but someone already beat me to it! I like it, makes her gorgeous golden eyes really show up nicely. Dressed her nicely too.
