Description

This is my second upload to this series. I would like to share the specific paragraph out of my friend, Mara's, writing in which I took the title. I always take my titles for my images from Mara's work because she writes so beautifully. "The truth of growing up is so poignantly simple, it's like the taste of spring renewal in the air of late February--tantalizing, haunting, creating a beautiful ache. Looking back on past events and emotions in a manner of awe, wondering what happened to the people we used to be, and missing ourselves in a way that is more purely full of hurt than any moonlight conversations about broken hearts we've ever had. The only difference is this-- in the folly of youth, we kiss that taste of spring and cling to it as if it will be here to save us today, and in the despair of adulthood, we recognize the late arrival of snowstorms that have yet to appear.
