Abobe Dimensions and Photoshop
Playing around with Dimensions again, that long ago discontinued vector 3d application program. This time I created a pencil and placed it on a tire-tread pattern surface. The tire-tread surface was rendered from 2 different angles and composited in Photoshop. Pencils were also rendered separately and placed in Photoshop. Dimensions can't do shadows, so those along with the DOF blur were done in Photoshop. The texture on the tire-tread surface was also applied in Photoshop.
