Description

Back to the house boats . lol I need to up load the trees and lay of the Atchabalaya Basin. Here one with a boat. I did not see anyone here. Maybe sleeping so they can do night fishing? got some shots of boats going by may post one or two of them. one is a airboat. But I going to post the trees first. A friend of mine say he know people here and he was with some that can get in the boat at night and go just where they wish and do not hit nothing. thanks for looking and comments

My sun shade was loose at the time and i did not know it. that why the black corners. I thought it helps in the image as a dream house

Actually I like a "vignette" effect. Great shot of the boat house with accessories.

I love your boat series Jock, it's cool to see how people live out on the water like that! you captured this one real good, and love how the corners are beveled/curved like that!

I would surmise the people willing to live in the swamp knows it like the back of their hand in daytime or at night.one must be a hearty bunch to live there.the reflections are outstanding and this house boat looks very livable

I'm liking this one. Love how the water is SO still it's reflecting like a mirror. I bet it's nice sitting there with a cup of coffee in the morning ...

Makes me wonder why they would position the swing that direction, wouldn't you want to look out at the view of the lake.. Nice shot!

The tangle of tree's makes an interesting contrast to the boat & house, that boat is almost bigger than the house, nothing like having back-up out there in the wild ! Neat capture & ~Cheers~

I was thinking why the swing chair is facing thway that it is, not a very nice view, looking at the door. Great image though Jocko, and I suppose the boat tied up is a standard requirement if you live out in the swamp. I wonder how far it is to the nearest wall mart.lol. Beaut reflections here. Excellent series and capture. Bravo!!!!!
