Description

Dedicated to Mr. Gary Gygax the co-creator of the Dungeons & Dragons RPG, who sadly passed away this week, I have been wondering what to do as a tribute to the man who gave me immense, entertainment, pleasure and companionship over 31 years, and well none of my work, the characters above or my artistic skills in sculpture and modeling would have existed!, along with some friendships that are almost as long in time as I have played in the worlds and characters that populated them. It may only be a game but it was a part of my life, and the part of many on this site and elsewhere. I now thank you Gary may you rest in peace and the world I think is better for you being on it….. Thanks my friends for looking and comments be safe as always…

Didn't even know! Most excellent image and fitting tribute! His creativity has given me sooooo many hours of fun! And I also would not have had so many ideas without D&D in my life! (When I started there were just 3 little booklets, brown and about 8" high! Anybody else 'member?)

I was just thinking this looks like something from a D&D game - looks fantastic, great character development.

As one of the early Tactical Simulations folks, I have to say that I will miss Gary. He gave us the ways, means, and methods to go beyond the basic "cops and robbers" type of role playing and move into the myriad realms that literature has so abundantly provided. His legacy will live on for many, many years.

This is a most apt and fitting tribute to a man who has also given me so many hours of fantastic enterainment within worlds that fantaies exist. Also I feel that without what this man gave to us our meeting and friendship that has lasted for over 25 years may never have happened. Mates you will have thousands, true friends you can count on one hand. This man gave me a few good true friends. #################### May you rest in peace Gary Gygax ####################
