Description
It's really crazy to see how feelings can make you acting and thinking. Sure when you have something in mind, it's rather hard to keep it for yourself, and you have to get it off. Anything is possible; in my case, i had some "blues" few days ago, and not far from me my pen and my scrapbook, so guess what happened.
So, i did this, but why uploading it there? Well, even this draw is a kind of rough, curiously i made it with... "all from myself" i mean it's not a work directly about myself, but i guess it's one of the most personnal work i made.
Why personnal, well surely because lots and lots of things wich influençate me are in. The lonely long coated man is in my mind since ages, i don't know how a simple book cover (David Calvo's "Wonderful") could marked me like this, as same as Caspar Friedrich's "Wanderer above the Sea of Fog". By the same way, i really love this romantic (19th artistic period) imagery, a lone man, wandering and discovering a gigantic natural place. But here i turned this place as an urban one. Sure old and ruined urban structures fit with a "blue" mood, but they're also here because of two artists: Enki Bilal and Tsutomu Nihei. I discover cyberpunk with the first one (The Nikopol trilogy), and the second made me love architecture. (i have a cult for "Blame!" XD )
We are all made from our experiences, and all what we do always show a part of this. I guess that's why this work has its importance for me...
I hope you will enjoy this, sure i wanted tu upload a... better quality work as my first "drawing" on 'rosity but what is better to show, a impersonnal but top notch work, or a rough one made with all you have?
So, ladies and gentlemen, enjoy!

sorry it has taken me so long to leave a comment, but i am aware where the mood that sparked you to draw this came from and that also causes a chain reaction that trickles down.i wish i had the talent to express myself as you do.

this is a very nice drawing. Full of sentimental message. I am not sure what you mean by better quality. I wish I can draw like this...
