I never could get interested in this pastime of many people.I can balance on a ladder but not on a skate board.she needs a helmet and elbow protection, but telling a teenager something that makes sense is not easy.super capture

Good shot, and great scenery there. Looks like a nice peaceful place to walk and appreciate the world. And she really should at least have a helmet! But like RP above said, getting a teenage girl to put a helmet on.....Yikes! Nice family photos, thanks!

Even though my sons had them, they never picked up the hobby of skateboarding. Guess we made less emergency room trips because of that. ;o) Excellent capture.

She was ok, never got hurt thank god. and she was not doing any tricks or anything. just the way she dismounted was a bit goofy is all. funny how know one commented on her boy friend not wearing a helmet, and yet he gets real wild on his board lol! and yes I agree they should wear helmets, but it's also like asking me to wear a helmet when riding my mountain bike...ain't happening! we do it ala naturale lol. and I did take some nasty spills before on BMX bikes in the past, yet always threw my hands out in front of me like a cat does to cushion protect self lol.

Looks like a good place to bike, or roller blade, as long as there are NO hills.. as soon as I see the slightest hill I am on my ..well you get what I am saying. Oh well its one way to amuse my daughter.. lol And I agree Mike, I could never get the 'having' to wear a helmet when riding a bike. Just use common sense.

Interesting pic! I live in a university town, and every year many folk are very severely injured and one or two killed who would certainly avoided head injury if they had worn a helmet. Mind you, one of my neighbours sons had his head ripped off by a lorry, and he was wearing one. For me, going without is SO uncool!

The timing of this shot looks like she is gliding through the air, not touching the ground.

Coming off a bad trip is as taxing as getting on one.

Gotta get her all of the elbow and knee pad equipment and perhaps even a helmet. Jeez, that area around there looks so nice and clean.
