Description

Yesterday I uploaded a grey squirrel 35mm film scanned in dated 1997. Today I give you another Grey Squirrel, taken yesterday, 3/7/08, things dont change much in eleven years do they? I did say thet Alan and I were going to the Transport Museum in Manchester, how wrong can you be. I picked Alan up as arranged and we decided that the Museum wouldn't open until about 10:00 so we had an hour to kill, I suggested we stop of at Heaton Park as it is on our way. Gets to the Park entrance and the gate is locked, not to worry we can go in round the other side. So we spent some time with the squirrels and birds. then we set off for the Museum. We got to the Street that it was on and asked one of the chaps in the bus depot adjoined to the Museum, How do we get in? He told us to carry on up the street to the very end. We did as instructed only to find the Museum was shut. NEXT TIME JEFF DO SOME PLANNING. It only opens Wed. Sat. and Sundays. Not to be outdone I suggested we pay a visit to Saint Leonards Church, it's on our way back. Got to the church happily snapping away, when the vicar comes up and tells us there is a funeral in half an hour and we will have to leave. I still managed to take over a hundred pics, and I'm sure Alan had quite a few more than that. So the moral of this story is, 'if you are planning on going somewhere new, do you're homework.' roflmao. you gotta laugh, I did. Please ZOOM for a nutty experience. Thanks for stopping by and for any comments you care to make, good and bad, I don't mind. May the sun shine down on you, where ever you are. I will PLAN another day to visit the Transport Museum.

I get told off for planning too much, can't help it, a lifetime of leading school trips means I leave very little to chance! Super pic. (His face gets a bit lost in the leaves, I wonder if you could darken just the light oak leaf nearest his nose.)

I had a great time Jeff, I'm not happy these days unless I can take a few pictures, and no I didn't take as many as you did, which is unusual for me lol. This is a cracker, posing for you. i like the comparison with the 1997 35mm shot, very alike! Oh and one handed macro shots like Lee takes are a different class mate! When I get that good ......

LOL, the little guy looks like the other one's twin --but your story is even better!! I do stuff like that all the time, but it leads to adventures you wouldn't have otherwise.
