I used to work in Street Lighting, for Rochdale Council, and it takes a big wallop from something to make a lighting pole do this. It is not down to sub-standard materials I can tell you that much. I had to visit one RTA at 01:00hrs where a car traveling at sixty miles an hour crashed into a light column, they are buried to a depth of 1.5 metre, he had hit it that hard it dragged the pole out of the ground and moved it 20ft down the road, leaving a live cable across the carriageway. It takes a good hard bang to do this to any light pole. Excellent capture. Bravo!!!!!
