Description
It wasn't accommodating. They were simply keeping resistance members alive... temporarily. Weapons used by Sycom during the occupation were malefic and caused cell degeneracy in anyone exposed to the toxins. A minimum of eight minutes of sunlight a day are now required to merely slow the deterioration of organisms and maintain rejuvenation of flesh.
Rhimi wondered about those still on the outside. Had they survived the raids? She thought about her mother. And Runner. There was much to think about and a lot of time to think. But for eight minutes outside her cell, she didn't. She stood below the casing, closed her eyes and radiated in the warmth on her face.
