Description

I wanted to really do something special for my 200th posting here on Renderosity, so here it is: my interpretation of architect, Frank Lloyd Wright's famous residence design named 'Fallingwater,' which is located in West Virginia here in the States. I spent an entire day working on this one and a few hours time to render the finished result. The setting is late Autumn, in the early evening hours with spot lights highlighting the form of the structure. This is by no means, a technical, architectural rendering. It is merely my interpretation of its design and should be viewed as such. 'Purists,' of which there are a few here on R'osity, should just pass by and move on to the next render. Enjoy and thanks for viewing and commenting... Bryce Resized, sharpened and signature with Paint.Net

When I used to play Sims2, I had bought a book on Frank Lloyd Wright to try to make some of his houses and building. He's work was so before his time. Wonderfully designed, and true pieces of Big art. When I first saw this I knew what it was, and was like...OMG, OMG, OMG it's going straight to my favorites. So perfect for your 200th, congrats Keith. I have only been watching and following your work for just a little while, but your growth has been so interesting to watch, and a joy for that matter. Thank you for sharing it with us. When you said it only took a day, I would have thought it was weeks of work. Very nicely done!! Love it!!

Your interpretation does justice to the original and adds your own distinctive take on it as well. It's a gorgeous work, fitting of a milestone such as your 200th post here. Hopefully this means there will be 200+ more posts in the future! It's funny, in seeing this, I love the clean lines of it and the somewhat "retro-future" look this piece has. The original architecture of the actual house has that same look, but you seem to have heightened it, wonderfully here. I'd love to see your take on various interiors as well!

I am a huge fan of frank lloyd-wright especially "falling water" and this is just wonderful. I am not an artist by any stretch of the imagination, just a mere mortal who enjoys graphic artists such as your self. GReat work, more please
