About the method I use for the photorealistic portraits: These are initially arranged in Poser6/7 with a photorealistic texture applied to the model. Lighting, composition etc are finalised here. Then the render is taken to photoshop where the skin textures are enhanced through the further addition of photographic reference, while trying to preserve the poser lighting arrangement as much as possible. Hope this has offered a little insight into the images' construction. And thanks again for taking time out from your own artistic endeavors to comment on mine. Happy rendering.
