Description

Sadly this image of the cheetah was not taken in the wild but at a cheetah conservation farm at Spier, close to Cape Town in South Africa. For those of you who do not know, cheetahs are on the endangered species list, and they are bred in captivity quite widely in South Africa. If you look closely, you can see the reflection of his caretaker in his eyes. Thank you for visiting my gallery. xx

Yes it is a shame to see them in captivity but still it is one way to save this beautiful animal..I couldn't decide if I was seeing someone reflected in it's eye, then I read what you had to say...thank you..great close up..

Geparde sind schwer zu fotografieren, weil sie von sich aus Abstand halten und fast ständig in Bewegung sind. Das Foto ist gut gelungen, besonders das Licht. Cheetahs are hard to take of a photograph because they hold of himself from distance and are almost permanent in movement. The photo is excellently, specially the light well.
