Our explorers would be lucky to have a ship that looked this fine! Nice markings. Anyone at NASA/ESA looking for conceptual artist?

Could fit in nicely as a ship in an early 90s SF flick.

Not ugly at all. Espically like the tail fin(s) for some reason.

Oh my god, this is right out of the Terran Trade Authority handbooks! I mean that as a compliment and not an implication that the artwork is derivative. It captures that golden age of painted science fiction artwork, when all of the greats (Like Peter Elston and Chris Foss) were all over the pages of the TTA Handbooks, Omni Magazine, and zillions of book covers which form the basis of my own interest in reading and writing science fiction. As for this being an ugly ship, well...I disagree. But beauty is always in the eye of the beholder and I see beauty here. I love the extravagant markings, and the ship design itself is fantastic...functional and definitely inspired by a pronounced awareness of science fictional mood. Great work and definitely a favorite!

A very cool model and image...the influences are definitely apparent but this is still very much an original design, well textured and set off beautifully by the awesome background...well done!!

why do you think it is ugly ? a bit of bright colour would not hurt, but it looks solid and reassuring.

This is a prime example of why you are one of the chosen few in my Favourite Artists list! That's a damn fine job there! Well done.

You captured the Foss look very well, all you need now are a few tiny humans to make it look huge. Five stars!

I think this is one of your most inspired works to date! It does not look ugly to me at all. It is a wonderful continuing of the style created by great artists like Foss and Elson. Hoping to see more work like this . . .
