Description

I know most artist got at lest one of these images they made. So here mine. We know there is good and evil and we listen one or the other. Many time the evil one will sound just like the good so we got to watch out for that. Many time we know the evil one talking to us and we still do what the evil one tells us; and that is sad. But we also do not do what the evil one tell us all the time so that good for we do that which the good tells us. Hope we will do that which is good all the time. Some times we see someone with a car broke down and like to stop but the good voice say "NO" and we get scare and keep on going wonder why the good voice stop us. We later hear or read that the people who broken down car robbed and killed some one that did stop and tried to help. I heard of storys like that and seen some like that. I was going to stop and help but something in me say "NO" and I keep on going and later heard this story I just told you. I help some people and after wish I never did. I was not hurt but was taken for $5 to $40. Or did not even get a "thank you" for helping and the people was rude too lol. Like when I picked up this guy to bring to a pay phone so he can call but then he wish to go to his dads house which he say was not far. He lyied to me and when he got there he told me to keep on going and not stop but go to his uncle house which was 5 miles away. He was very rude to me too and never thanked me. I never going to do that again. I going to stop the truck and tell him to get out. I wish I did that then. I told him off and say what I had to say to him but he still saw he was right. You can not help some people.[ I was not mad at him; for that how I was a long time ago. I listen to the good angel and change my life] thanks for looking and comments this came out of me looking for the northern lights. skiwillgee sent me some tutors on it but I had fun with out looking for them or getting a sky map. I did it just to play around and see what I come up with even if it junk, I got a lot of abstracts image I never posted from this. I post some one day; but I go and look at the tutors and do one. Look at skiwillgee gallery he do very good work

Life throws these dilemas at us constantly and you can only hope to do your best. A great image, Jocko!

I had this happen, too, Jocko. And one day helped another guy and he was so grateful because it was the middle of nowhere and he didn't even want to ask for help so my faith got restored. At least some. Your image has the feel of something old, like maybe from the forties, but the lighting is much more amazing than they'd do then.

well i find when dealing with certain law enforcement there is evil they make good to suit their needs and good the make evil to suit their needs. an oath that certain law enforcement swear to on joining: To up hold the truth(no matter how much they must lie to do so) so the lesson recently taught to me is there is not good only evil made to look good as needed. have you all saw the video of the polish guy tasered to death? at the hands of rcmp whom said he attacked them? if you saw the video all you see is them attacking him so they could watch him die! and just left him there on the floor looking stupidly at him twitching as he finaly prattled out his life. such honest kind careing types they are!! NOT!!!!!!

This is a really fantastic image... truly great art. You have a fantastic talent!!!! Your story is amazing. I am always amazing at just how many people are rude and arrogant. The thing I like about this site is that most here are like-minded and friendly... there are a few bad eggs or people trapped in the dark world of art-jealousy of the 'world of the self', but mostly they are good and I am grateful to whatever guided me here... and that's what your story is about. At the end of the day, it's not the decisions we make that count, such as not stopping to help a broken down driver, it's the angels or demons that guide us - call them what you want. Anyway, never feel guilty, because it's only your own better judgement just arguing with your kindness... so you win on both counts! Leave the rest up to fate, it will have it's way whatever you do.

Great real-life story, Jock. You did the right thing. You helped someone that needed help. If he took advantage of your generosity, that's on him. You get 5 stars from me for being human and caring. Really like this render as there is much sentiment within the art.

Well thankfully Jocko, I was never robbed or hurt by stopping to help people broken down and I have helped quite a few, mostly older people changing a flat for them, and the odd lone woman. I broke into a womans car once on the supermarket carpark, she had put her child in the back seat and slammed the door locked, her keys sitting on the front seat. I used to carry some nylon banding in my boot as part of the job, cant do that now with most of the cars having recessed buttons. I am now in the aged bracket, but I would struggle to do the job myself, as half the time you just can't trust people like you could once. Excellent render, and yes I can relate to the story, its the sad times we live in now. Bravo!!!!!

Excellent image! I'm not sure what to tell ya about the other. It's hard not to help people. Ya just never know. I don't think everyone takes advantage of others. (:

Hello my brother in faith :-) you always need t listen to your inner instincts...if it feels like it may be wrong, than most times it will be reall wrong. always keep good faith in our loving father and he is always with us no matter what. his encompassing love will always be with us and protecting us as long we keep believing in him :-) so unfortunate what happened to you in the past though. has happened to me before, people taking advantage of my kindness. This is a real good one Jock :-) I am fascinated by the Northern Lights also!

Splendid concept in this creation here, Jock! And, I agree, there is a tremendous amount of evil in the world, I see the results of it every day, and what's worse, it is extremely difficult to defeat.

Its just second nature for me to help others and it isn't always appreciated. But I'm careful and I don't help strangers without someone else along. I had a scare once and had to have help myself to get out of a bad situation. But I always ask myself how I'd feel if it was me or my child out there who needed help...what would I hope would happen then? Good thoughts here and excellent image.

Sometimes it's hard to tell and we just have to trust ourselves. I've been on both sides as well, helped and not helped, been helped, all of it. Beautifully written, beautifully pictured!!
