Description
Thanks to everyone that clicked, commented and made my dedication to the wonderfully talented Ronnie Jay (FracJay) a favorite. This means alot to me.
Yesterday, I said that I had a story to tell about the Goodness of God. It's kind of a long one, but those who have followed the recent (back in November timeframe) events in my son's life, and mine, know most of it already. Anyway, Friday I got a very good phone call from the lawyer who was representing my son for his little mishap in school, which lead to a hospital visit and me taking him out of school and home schooling, called to let me know the state had dropped the charges against him. This was awesome because, the Friday before I had decided to leave nights and become assistant wardmaster, which was a very hard decision to make. Over the past 13 years or so, I have put my career on hold to help my son. Now, that my son is stable, I have decided that I only have 3 years left and one more promotion would really help my retirement. But when I stepped off in faith, but worrying about all the appointments the state wanted him to have. Twice a week in my home, once a week in the office. Once a week of community service, plus his regular visits to the doctor and therapist. Not to mention the 1500 dollars to have him tested for pysch issues. I didn't see how working days would let me do it. Even though I was scared and concerned, I still took a blind leap. Opportunities knock, and the last time I didn't answer it ended up hurting me. Now, all I have to worry about is coming home and making sure he's done his work, and work with him a few hours a night. The good thing is that he is extremely bright, he already knows how to read and write and add. He's determined to do what it takes to be homeschooled, and we have holidays, leave time, and weekends. Plus, we don't have a time constraint. We have summers, and spring break, etc. I know this is God's will for us. I'm rejoicing and thanking God for the grace He has shown upon us.
Have a great Sunday. Work just called and asked if I wanted to stay home tonight. What do you think? Love salary work! Have a denist appointment in the am.

I have always said that destinies are made. God always has a hand in them and if you listen, the whisper of guidance is always there. I'm so happy this is turning out well for you and your son. Divine providence. :o) A glorious image indeed for this news. Bunny

Speaking from experience. I can honestly say that I was a difficult child, but my Mother held the Faith and it was her idea for me to go to art school... That's all I'm saying... apart from the fact that your picture is excellent. A glowing image of hope in the cosmos... and incidentally, it reminds me of cinder toffee, which is a further plus!

hugs I'm so glad to hear that, hon! I know I've prayed for you all, and have had others pray too, and now those prayers have been answered! This is a gorgeous fractal--the coloring is fantastic, as is the texturing, and it's an instant fave!

A beautiful, rich and vibrant "faith;" special image and an inspiring personal experience with faith. The Lord is always there for us, isn't He? We just need to listen to the "still, small voice" and walk in faith and obedience so He can bless us in our lives. I hope and pray all works out for your son..and for you!

Faith, one of the most important things in our lives. You realised it here in a superb way. Strength also with all troubles around. It's a good thing to have faith, and you have. (Sorry, my lame English is insufficient to support you more in detail, but believe me, my thoughts are with you.)
