Description
Sorry for the lack of uploads this weekend. I had a bit of a rush trip back home do to my grandmother (87 years old)being in the hospital from a bout of sickness that has left her dehydrated. Long story longer she is doing better but I couldn't let her be in the hospital and not visit.
To the pic, taken on my new Canon Rebel XT with 28-80 zoom lens. Edited with GIMP. Not a lot of postwork done here. I adjusted the sharpness and touched up the color a little and cropped it a lot. The pic was actually taken from a bridge on my drive home from home.
As always, thank you all for viewing, the kind comments and helpful ideas.

My best guess, since the image is so far off and even blow up to 200% comes off a bit blurred, is that because of the size of the ears and the size of the head to the body, it would be a nutria. Beaver are pretty broad in the shoulders and the ears are small and rounded - sometimes not visible for the thick hair surrounding them.
