Description
"Rick's Place, Casino Earthican.... one of many small, but firmly established Lounges that populate the fringes of the two feuding empires..... their loyalties are to neither. Outlying Lounges are usually Mom and Pop affairs, small families, eeking out a bare existance on the ragged edge of civilization, seeting up shop on asteroids, small moons, or even derelict spaceships. Casino Earthican is an exception. Run by an ex pirate who lost his left arm in a firefight trying to escape enforcement ships of both Vay-Gas and Reen-Oh ... at the same time. rick is now known as the One Arm Bandit... but once you get to know him, you find out that he has a softer side, and is willing to help out those in need or distress, should the need arise.

Of course the MOM and POP places find it hard to compete against well established places offering free stay and free show tickets. Places like Tah-Hitti Village. But fortunate for Mom and Pop, is what people snared by this free comps style offer soon discover that it is actually a Time Share scam. The whole visit is consumed with Time Share seminar content and little enjoyment as long as the ensnared resist. It is luck that the local star systems frequent the Mom and Pop places for accessible casino experiences and better odds. Luck that favors the house.
