Description

Fractal Explorer. This is the first time I used the layer / texture function in FE. I consider the use of layers not as real fractals, but there is a big discussion about it. But..., you can create wonderful images with this possibility. Ultra Fractal is a very good example. FE has very basic options to create a two layered fractal, and this is what I've done with it. In short: Open FE - render a fractal - click on "Tx" on the menu - a window opens - load an image as background (just as big as the render) - uncheck the "infinity area only" box - choose a layer option (like multiply) - change the "Alpha" box. Just play a bit with these options. Read the warning. Click "Close". Save fractal.
