Description

Sorry I have not been around so much I have been ill. I had an allergic reaction to prescribed anti biotics. I am feeling just about human again. I hope you like my flower. Thank you for looking and for treasured comments. Hugs. Diane.

I have always preferred carnations over roses to me they have more character and last twice as long.. and smell wonderful.. glad to hear you are feeling better.. no fun to be sick this time of year.

It would make a beautiful button hole Diane, I like the texture of the tree behind as well. Pauline favourite flower, any colour but her most favourite is yellow, I bought her a bunch of yellow from the market near closing time. The seller was shouting out 'Get your carnations 50p a bunch' I was feeling extravigant so I bought her two bunches(lol). She cut them and put some of the cut offs in a jar with water, she still has yellow carnations in the garden from them, about twelve years ago. Excellent capture, wonderful composition. Bravo!!!!! Good to hear you are feeling better.

Greetings Diane, Once again you dazzle us with a wonderful white carnation flower, something that is difficult to shot since white throws a monkey wrench into everything. Excellent exposure range. Wishing you all the very best and get better soon. Thank you for sharing. egmont

That shade of green is a good complement to the bark behind it. A nicely detailed shot. So sorry about your reaction. I nearly died several times as a child from a drug before they figured out it wasn't my illness killing me, but the treatment.

As for alergic reactions, I hope that things are getting better for ou and that you don't have have many more doses of antibiotics to go. It's good to see you posting and I look forward to hearing that you've gotten well!
