Description
This is my first upload. It is an old Amiga image that I did quite a few years ago now. I think this may be the last Amiga image I upload because it didn't translate well. We'll see. Expect to see new work in the near future done on my PC.
Hardware and Software used are as follows:
Amiga 2000 w/GVP 030 50mhz
Digiview, DCTV, Imagemaster, ADPro, Imagine 3D, Essence textures and Forge.

not bad but the eye is out of focus and that bothers me since it's the central object. The natural desire is to focus on the eye...but with the soft focus being there, and the clear focus being the outside edges...the actual focus is the ends of the lighting. it gives me a feeling of wanting to adjust depth of field instead of just looking at the image.

That occured translating the image from the Amiga version to the PC. Unsure why. The original eye image is an Imagine render which of course was in focus. The only blurring was at the edges of the composite into the 2D background done in post. The same diffusion happened on the fingers. Don't know why the lightning stayed sharp. That's one of the reasons I won't be posting much Amiga stuff. Too many hoops, starting with the pixel aspect change. Thanks for the comment.

Thank you much for the comment and the rating! This image is actually a play on words as well as being symbolic of the creative process. It is a representation of an ability that is required for most of the activities we engage in. Hand-eye coordination. Hence the title. In addition the eye represents imagination. The hand symbolizes the manipulation of imagination needed to create something specific. The lightning bolts represents the energy (four modes) required to "enliven" the molded images to bring the intended creation to fruition. As with most symbolism it is not necessary to consciously recognize the information being imparted. This is why it is important for artists to be responsible with the images we produce. Thanks again!!!
