This is a most unique and interesting interpration of summer. I had to look this up. In 1970 the first earth day was celebrated. So I think this could be your version of earth day. This is totally great!!!

Summer of 1970... This is deeper than phychedelic art, which is mostly all on the surface. This is a texture... one I'd love to explore. To the left you can see the Beatles arguing about Yoko and drugs... to the right is Hendrix saying goodbye... and Pink Floyd reaching into the atom-heart of their mother.

what an amazing artist you are. I'm starting to go back to your back-gallery, and I'm amazed at the work you've posted. You look deeply into pattern and its language, and this is chock-full of layers and pathways and energy-lines. Your patterns reveal patterns within them, then patterns within them. You trace peaks of a pattern until they become their own pattern. You allow complex valleys & recessions to drop off from your peaks. This could be a map, a satellite image, a microscopic shot of a capillary, a motherboard (although a pretty messed-up motherboard!), or a close-up of a very complex fabric. You get the meta-textures of life. And because you 'frame' this with two paler versions of the central pattern, we're reminded this is a work of art. Endlessly fascinating, it compels, cajoles, talks, kids. Whatever Summer 1970 may mean to you, the piece can touch all kinds of places in us. Yours is consistently one of the most complex & penetrating galleries on the site. I love this piece.
