Description
These are some dogs we saw in Pompeii. The town was full of strays. The puppy in the foreground was one of four, definitely siblings, who were hanging out together in the forum. They didn't seem very happy, and the big black dog wasn't interested in helping them out. We actually saw a girl pick one of the puppies up, put him in her purse, and carry him away. He was probably the lucky one.
