Description
My new pet. He is a african fat-tailed gecko, I named him Dexter. He was a valentines day present, cute lil guy.. but hasn't eaten much of any thing since v-day. Starting to get a lil concerned but he still looks healthy and seems to drink often. Just doens't seem to eat any thing I've put in to his cage. Crickets mediums and small, powdered and non powdered, meal worms, butter worms .. nothing. Only thing I seem him eat for sure is banana flavoured baby food with mashed up cricket and calicium powder mixed in. Any ways i'm rambling.
The Fat-tailed gecko is from the subfamily Eublepharinae. Members of this subfamily include the leopard gecko of Pakistan. This subfamily has clearly different characteristics from other geckos. They are terrestrial, nocturnal, have moveable eyelids, have vertical pupils, and no adhesive lamellae (sticky feet). The Fat-tailed gecko is equipped with the natural defense of being able to lose their tails when attacked by a predator. The tail is also where they store their fat, an important energy reserve. If the tail is lost the new tail will look more similar to the head (fat and stubby), and may not match the coloration patterns of the body of the gecko. With its tail, an African fat tailed gecko can go days on end without food.

It's the first time I comment your animal series. This because I didn't think they are fractals, or am I wrong?? Yes, I see many fractal elements in it but for me not enough to say that the animal is purely built on fractals. But I repeat, maybe my view is too limited and not right. From an artistic point of view your creations are gorgeous and they all derserve a 5++, including this one. Be sure, I enjoy them very much, as pictures and as manipulated digital art, they're very original and exclusive.

I love the colors, great!!

in photoshop, by using a redfield filter of fractalius, anything can be transformed to this style with just one easy step. anyway, enjoy your photography artwork very much.
