I've been on this lion kick lately, and also missing my cat back in Chicago, so seeing this image is a double treat for me on numerous levels! I love the clarity of her gaze and also the beautiful sense of color here. You've captured her innate dignity and beauty and it's presented wonderfully here.

Magnificent portrait of the magnificent beast, Maria! The lighting, beige colors, clarity, and textural effects contrast well against the black background. BTW, with those wrinkles and bags under the eyes, it looks like the cat worries a lot.
