Description

Living in flat Lincolnshire, this cathedral on a hill can be seen from many miles away. After many years restoring the front, always covered in scaffolding it is a treat to see its full glory. It is only possible to get it all in with a very wide angle lens so a little adjustment to correct converging verticals was required in PS Canon 400D - Sigma 10-20mm Zoom

I agree with Linda here Kevin, I remeber seeing this Cathedral back in 2004 and it had scaffold all over it then, yes it is nice to see it in it's glory, but then to me, any house of god is glorious :)..But I digress, this is a wonderful shot and the colour and focus is bang on-A question?..did you do any perspective fix on it?...or did you simply take the shot at distance...the only reason I ask is that I have done some architectual shots and they always seem to converge?...and I have to do a fix in photoshop!
