good afternoon :o)
we have had no power on and off all day ,we are being battered by 80 mph winds with worse yet to come i believe :o(
this was taken this morning whilst there was a brief lull in the weather .the swing was ripped out of its fixings and planted at the back of the garden along with its new buddies the bin lid and orange bucket and no i did`nt take this bucket with me for the other shot :o)..i`ve had a little play about with this to make it a bit more interesting .
for those that asked i`m still off the fags but still crave one and there are few houses that are coming into play ,just waiting now for the council`s responce .
thanks for looking

A wonderful subject for selective colouring Mick and a fine job you did of it!!! We are still being battered by the winds but so far.... not as bad a you. I am so sorry Mick. Stay off the cigs, our kid.. I am glad some houses are coming though, this is not an easy time for you and your family. Hang in there. Hugs. Diane.

we have had a beautiful day here Mick, it has been blowing but it's been sunny i went out to take photos today while it was a nice day. When we had the storms on monday it was horendous, flooding, roofs blown off and an aeroplane was flipped over at our local aerodrome. Great capture here Mick, great selective colouring excellent well done mate.

Our Emma was outside at 4:00hrs this morning Mick, picking up the recycling that had fallen out of the wheelie bin when it was blown over. The bin was flying about in the driveway, hitting my car and hers. When we put the bin out it was full to the top, when the men came it was only half full, the rest had blown away down the street, but when we looked we couldn't find a thing. A lampost was blown over last night injuring a woman driver, it crushed her Mini Cooper but she got away with a couple of scratches. Still severe wind down here. Glad to hear about the fags and house, fingers crossed. Excellent image, great selective colour, works real well. Bravo!!!!! Are you sure you didn't get that bucket from the field.lol.

You've done a splendid composition here Mick! Love it ;O) I heard about the devastating wind at TV, lots of damages everywhere. Take care!

Nice postwork, sepia effect and selective colour. before I read the narrative I was all set to accuse you of bringing the bucket home lol. We had mushy peas yesterday lol, but I can tell you its nothing to do with the Gale force winds. Take care Mick. good to hear your doing well with the no ciggies. I was thinking the other day wondered how far have you gone with building the computer Railtrack?

Oh this is a great image! Sorry about the winds. Good for quitting those cigs. I wish my boys would quit. In fact, I read my son the riot act this morning about leaving the empty packets around the house (he's not allowed to smoke in the house). Anyway, keep going with your images. These are really enjoyable.

This is a fantastic image my friend!

Good lord, they're everywhere! Now you'll have to start taking this bucket with you when you go out with your camera, and take pictures of it in interesting places. LOL! Okay. Or not. :)

This could end up like the travel-log on the white plastic grocery bag that ends up in ever shot taken on vacation... :-) Fun shot and nice and clear.
