Description

One of the three children of a pair of Egyptian Geese that have decided to raise their kids in a park near my workplace. I'd love to hug them for that decision, but I doubt they'd take it so well. :-) I'll add a few more shots of the little ones to my gallery over the next few days, as I think they are far too cute that a single picture will do them justice. :-) I am no expert, but from what I've read I believe this gosling must be perhaps somewhere around 16 to 19 days old, given that it just starts to develop real feathers (the rust-colored parts near the shoulder). If anyone has a better estimate I'd love to hear it. :-)

Once again a lovely picture. I have become so corrupted by 3D modeling, that I marvel at the hair-like down as an alternate texture (instead of definitive feathers).
