Description
Thank you so much for all the kind comments and faves you guys were sweet enough to give "Goodnight, You Moonlight Ladies"... I surely appreciate your words and mouse-clicks!
Ultra Fractal for this one. And for those interested in such things, here's what I used:
The Standard Julia with 10 layers of Mark Townsend's 'fBm Popcorn Trap' found in the mt.ucl folder. Two layers of Kerry Mitchell's 'Bezier Curve' (lkm.ucl) for the seed pearl wisps. A layer each of Damien Jones' 'Orbit Traps Direct (UF3) and Orbit Traps (UF3) both located in the dmj3.ucl folder. And one layer of 'Triangles' by Dennis Magar from the ldm.ucl folder. Seven masking layers, too... and I called it done. Well... actually, I called it "Arietta"... but you know what I mean... ;)
Many thanks for taking the time to have a look... :)
Hugs!
Helen :)

ok....here comes Mr. Meanie. I agree that the coloring is simply superb. Except for a straight up red and pure blue I think you've covered the entire color wheel. Not an easy feat to pull off. The coloring is very rhythmical. In fact, it is that excellent gradient work that draws the eye to the pic. Super job. BUT...........as I study what you've done here something seems a little off. And I think it is the grid. I get the impression that the feeling is "this has helped before, I'll add it here also." But to me it just ain't jivin'. The bezier pearls are an ExcellenT touch. The shadow tendrils...marvelous. The clipped edges really add personality. I see a lot of thought in all these elements. That grid though..... hmm........I think it detracts rather than enhances. Ok. you can shoot me now.
