Description

There are numerous canals in Venice like this one that gondoliers use as sightseeing routes for their tourist costumers. This picture was taken on 4 July 2007. Thank you for viewing and commenting on my last upload, and a special thanks to those that added some of my uploads to their favorites.

Fantastic shot, and what a romantic dream of a place this is. a great POV and the composition has everything. I love the textures of the old decaying buildings.

Lots of lovely natural detail in this capture, Siegfried. It is not the sort of shot you see in the travel guidebook, or in a film at the cinema. They are all too clean, and neat and glossy. This is very human and very real, my friend. Regards, John.

A tight fit and a winding trail even for water. I love the feel that this is just and average moment in an average day in an average week. The capture is anything BUT average!

Excellent shot, Sig. This looks very three-dimensional. And like the rest of this series, it's so colorful, too.

This is the best of your Venice series. It shows a little bit the live of the Venetians behind the tourists mile.
